Hide threads without opening?

Can MNHQ please look at allowing us to hide threads without opening them? If I'm browsing Active I'd really prefer to be able to swipe to hide threads on distressing topics, without having to open them. I just want to get them off my screen as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Second this - it’s a toss up between seeing the distressing title repeatedly or having to open it and risk seeing something more distressing.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean, you can. When you're on active there's 3 dots beside the thread title, selecting that gives you the option to hide or watch

Or am I being thick & you mean something else

Ohhh just realised you seem to only be able to do it in active. Sorry

I'm on my laptop, not sure if you are using the app, but there is a - in a circle by each threat and if you click on that it removes it. I'm fully on board with this option, thanks MNHQ!

Thanks to PPs, but I can't see those options - I'm on my phone in mobile view. I will check it out in the app.

I'm on the mobile site too, can certainly hide from active on it
