Watched threads disappearing

Why the hell are my older Watched threads disappearing? I've searched them out again, Watched them again and as soon as I go onto the new threads page they disappear again!

It's particularly upsetting as they're ones with IAmTheZombie through her cancer journey & the support thread when she died.

Any idea @MNHQ?

I totally agree. I had several really old threads in my watch list, some of which I felt sentimental about, some had useful info, some I just enjoyed and wanted to keep.

I seem to have hundreds of “threads I’m on” going back years but it’s the saved ones that I’m missing.

Where are they @MNHQ, please bring old watched threads back!!!

@MNHQ doesn't go anywhere, you need to report your post so that MNHQ see it or @ a specific person.@SueMumsnet is investigating the loss of my watched threads.

Lily Mumsnet has just emailed me. They know it's a problem now. Ye olde 'uninstall, reinstall, delete, update, switch off & on again' to no avail.

'Do you mind if we put this as an unresolved case for now, and wait to see if the wider 'watched threads' fix (which should be coming soon) fixes this, too? '

Thanks iklboo. This really is pretty bad all round, I think. A few initial glitches are to be expected but this is way, way more than that.

I have one specific watched thread (the one I use the most) that keeps defaulting to unwatched. Most annoying.

Hi all - quick update on this one. All of your old watched threads should now be visible in "I'm watching".

When we launched the new platform, we limited watched threads to threads that people had watched in the last year. We did this because we wanted to limit database impact (some users have A LOT of watched threads) but we've found a way to restore them in a way that is ok. So you should now be able to see all of your old watched threads. Do let us know if not.

I can't get any of my watched threads in the app..but they're listed on the website..so very frustrating!
