Notifications - but there aren't any!

The notification thingy alerts me to notifications - but when I click on it, it says there aren't any! Anyone else getting this?? This is only since the update (and all my watched threads have disappeared)

I’m getting the same thing.

It does, however, let me 'mark all as read' so I tried that and the red notification button disappeared. Still no idea what the notification was for though.
