Notifications/last post read

Huge fail MN. If I click on notifications, then click on a thread that’s had new posts, it takes me straight back to page 1. Highly irritating. I want it to do what the old site did - take me to the last post in the thread that I’d previously read.

This is a huge glitch (as is the fact that starting a new paragraph doesn’t automatically begin with a capital letter).

No, I’m talking about clicking on the “notifications” tab under my account (ie click on the “person” icon for my account and then click on notifications).

it’s the way I’ve always navigated my account. And the way I’ve always navigated posts that I’m on. It was a really easy way of keeping tabs on various threads.

And I’ve missed the stupid capital letter again at the start of my second paragraph!

This glitch is a gamechanger for me, I hope it’s sorted soon.

Theres no way I’ll ever “flip” a thread. I don’t want to read in reverse. I want my notification to take me back to the point where I last read the thread. If it doesn’t get resolved, I will probably spend less time here. That function worked perfectly well before - no idea why it hasn’t been carried over to the new look.

Despite having bookmarks, it takes me to the beginning of all my watched threads!

So frustrating trying to find where your last bookmark was by scrolling and scrolling down as no pages on Android app.

Completely agree. What's the point of even watching threads when I can't navigate to the newest posts in it??

And now when I click on a thread in my notifications, I don't even get taken to the thread, I just get a black box.

I'm basically using notifications as a list, then going to find the thread on whatever board its on, and then finding where I'm up to. Which takes ages, so I'm not really bothering!
