Bookmarks gone

Argh all of the bookmarks on threads I am watching have disappeared. I'm on the app on an iPad - this is really annoying. When I add a new bookmark now it doesn't register. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but this hasn't fixed it. All bookmarks still there on the desktop site though.

Did anyone actual beta test this update before release? I work in software updates and we would be crucified by releasing something with this many bugs

I think this might be the thing that finally breaks my mumsnet addiction! It’s not really a useable app without the bookmark feature working.

It's awful isn't it? I've also logged out of the app on my phone which did sort out the fact I couldn't see anything I was on or watching but this losing the bookmark is rubbish.
Genuinely the worse update I've ever known on a forum.

It's doing my head in. There's really no point posting or even reading long threads if bookmarks doesn't work.

Please tell us you're working on it @mnhq 🙏

Interested to know this too, as I'm also finding bookmark feature doesn't work on the app. Tried logging out and no success. Very frustrating having to scroll back through a long running thread

I am having the same issue with bookmarks (or complete lack thereof) on the Android app - which was always the poor cousin, but geez. This is another level of 'how not to UAT a site upgrade' 😳

Not holding out much hope for the Android app to be a priority for Mumsnet Towers. Guess they will lose another set of eyeballs on the copious ads. 😘

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of fixing a lot of these app issues raised, so please bear with us and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

They still work for me on mobile site on iPhone (in safari).

So annoying. There's no point in engaging on any thread really. Hope it doesn't take too long to resolve!

I can't actually post from the app either (in addition to the bookmark issue). I've had to log in on the PC to post this comment!

This issue is still ongoing - when will it be resolved? It's so frustrating!

No bookmarking on Android app either still

@MNJo Mine are still not working great, they are not transferring between devices - so if I book mark something on the desktop site, when I go onto the app the bookmark is still where I last placed it on the app instead of syncing with the desktop.

@JoCMumsnet Hi Jo, bookmarks are still not syncing between desktop and iPad app - any idea how much longer until this is fixed? I feel like MN will start haemorrhaging users if these type of issues don't get fixed soon. Thanks!
