Why is there a huge amount of Zombie threads being posted on? Has this been a knock on of the site changes or is the end near Shock

OP posts:

Just came to site stuff to see if this had been asked. It's making me just want to log out.... one thread I've just clicked into was started in 2015!

thebeespyjamas · 20/04/2022 14:19

Why is it such a bad thing? It's like a new discussion isn't it? I know the OP may not be around any longer, but what's the issue with a discussion being revived exactly?

Zombie apocalypse 😂 love it.
I searched for a thread about this because I'd noticed it myself. Definitely think it's a sign of the end.

Hmmmm., not sure the answer to this one but we'll look into it. Thanks for alerting us.

I've just nearly commented on one from 2009 about a 4 year old going to the shops - that kid will be about 16 now!!

SpinningMeSoftly · 20/04/2022 20:04

It's because (partly) the 'New Platform' has put a load of old threads in 'Trending' for some posters. So they click and post.

That and other new features like removing 'today' and 'yesterday' from above-the-post-headings are possibly contributing to the flurry of zombies and eddies in the space-time continuum.

Mebs.
