I've had to create a new account to post this. I want my history back - can you merge the new and old accounts?

OP I thought my account was disappeared this morning but I changed my password and it's ok, I think they've made the password requirements more stringent. Try that if it'll let you.

I can't get back in under my original username either. It just doesn't come up.

I suppose I might get used to this one, but I have no history either and I have been on here for years.

It's only since last night, probably due to the re-platforming. Tried to login but it wouldn't recognise my email. I've recently received MN emails so I know the email was correct - as was the password saved by Chrome.

I had problems too - wish people wouldn't mess around with things that work perfectly well.

You cannot get a new password if it doesn't recognise your email.
