for years I’ve used desktop. I liked the way I could change from mobile to desktop

what did you do last night to change it 🥲🥲

make it so much harder on an iphone to find threads you want or staring a new post

used to be able to swap by pressing Aa at the top

or the 3 dots bottom right depending what server

can you bring desktop back please

I totally agree. @MNHQ you do know people with eye problems chose the desktop view on phones and tablets for a reason? The colour contrast between the white and light blue you've forced on us now across all formats (phone, tablet, desktop) is really awful.

Please bring back the choice because honestly, it's like you didn't talk to anyone with eye issues who could have told you why the option to choose 'desktop' mattered.

Incidentally, if you try and add a smiley to a post the post just goes 'oops'. It's almost as if you don't actually want to read criticism because you've decided everything you've done is perfect. It isn't. Please give us the option to change back to the old 'desktop' view across all formats because otherwise I can't use the site.

I agree - the new site is not good on a larger screen. Way too much unnecessary scrolling because the layout is so bad, and loss of functionality

Agree: I used the desktop format due to visual and sight problems. I cant use this new site ; it hurts my eyes too much. This is a disability discrimination MN !
