Mumsnet Premium now includes Ads?

Presume it's something to do with the update but the whole selling point to the MN Premium service is no ads.

Despite logging on again, I am now drowning in ads and have no idea what I'm paying for? Is this just a glitch that will go or is this the 'new look' - in which case, I will not be paying for it..its awful!

I agree-although I can’t see actual ads, there’s a wide banner across the top of the phone screen just saying ADVERTISEMENT, which feels like they’re taking the piss, tbh.

I have them across the top, between messages, floating so I can't escape them! No idea what's going on but it's so busy and horrid and I am definitely still on premium.

I think it says premium there, whether or not you're subscribed. Mine does and I'm not.

Just checked the subscribe bit and it now says fewer ads... hmm..

I logged on again and the ads have now disappeared.

Hmmm... thanks for the tip. I've just logged off and still drowning in ads. And I clicked on 'My Premium against my account and it asks me to sign up.. so have I just been unsubscribed?

Not sure I want to sign up again in case it does a duplicate payment. How bloody frustrating as I signed up as soon as it was suggested to support the site and its now all gone screwy!

I'm on the mobile website, and while I don't have ads I have massive placeholder spaces for the ads which are almost as distracting.

I resubscribed to Premium several days ago but it's not working, i.e. not being recognised when I log in. I've tried logging out on all devices, clearing cookies and logging in again, no joy. Emailed MN who said
We're so sorry - this is an widespread issue for our Premium users due to the new platform. We are all aware and are doing our best to resolve this as fast as possible.

Thanks for all the information you've given us; that is a big help.

We can't give you a timescale unfortunately but it is a priority right now to get our Premium users back up and running as you should be as fast as possible.

I am really cross about this now, I'm sure they are trying to get it sorted but it seems like the new platform is causing all sorts of problems and I wonder if functionality was tested enough before they rolled it out.

And losing advanced search is rubbish too!
