Numbers to click on pages unhelpful

What was wrong with Next/Previous/Last with specific pages available.

I can't go past page 15 now. I was on a long running thread which was past 15 pages, now I can't see the latest posts. Please fix urgently!

OK I can see the thread now, but I much preferred having next, previous, last buttons

Same here - bring back First and Last. So much easier and quicker when trying to keep up with posts on threads. I know there's always a period of adjustment when something is updated, but it's a pain this morning having to navigate multiple changes all at once. The page numbering is the one that's led me to post here though. Frustrated!

What happened to the Refresh button? It seems to have gone.

for threads like as semantle as I could just go straight to last page.could this be possible again?

First , Last , page number are all very useful.

It does let you do last I think. If there are many pages you see 1 2 3 4 5 6 .. 29 30 or similar - the last two are always equivalent to last and second last iyswim. It's just not labelled "last". If you're in the middle pages of a long thread it should show something like 1 2 ... 17 18 ... 35 36 - so the first and last page links should be visible.

i think last button was quicker/simpler. And I didn’t need to scroll to the end of page

One other thing I’ve just noticed ...
I used to be able to click on a post in threads I’m on and it would I take me to that post but that’s not clickable now- only the title is. It waa as a fast way of navigating threads. Now it’s much slower

Sorry to go on. Before the upgrade I could go to threads im on and click on the latest post and go straight there. Now i go to threads I’m on then I have to click on the title then find the last page number, click that then scroll down to the bottom. A lot of extra steps! Could the posts be clickable to help with navigation?

Can you click on the little arrow to the right, which should take you to that post rather than the OP? Takes a bit of getting used to...

Ah yes!!
I still have to scroll over though to see the arrow as it’s wider than my screen.but it’s better than what I was doing. Still prefer the clickable posts.

im finding it much more of a strain on my eyes than before.

I think it’s a handy feature and great having it towards the top.
