Deleting reverses?

Is this a new policy? I didn’t realise it was against talk guidelines.

OP posts:
AchillesPoirot · 12/04/2022 19:18

I’m interested too.

Samcro · 12/04/2022 19:25

Hopefully it is
That goady one just needed to go.

PurpleDaisies · 14/04/2022 21:58

Any comment @mnhq?

I think it isn't a bad idea to delete as they are just so damn confusing when half way through the OP admits it and then no one knows what they are discussing any more.

SoupDragon · 15/04/2022 18:29

I thought they've deleted them for ages. I don't think it's new.

Pumperthepumper · 15/04/2022 18:33

Which one was deleted? The cat one?

cliffdiver · 15/04/2022 18:38

@Pumperthepumper

Which one was deleted? The cat one?

Nope, still there.

Samcro · 15/04/2022 18:47

I think it was about someone with out a badge
Parking in a bb bay.
Could be wrong though as it was days ago

ENoeuf · 15/04/2022 18:50

I wish we could just call it without getting ourselves deleted or banned. Reverses are really obvious as are made up scenarios like that stupid pizza one. But instead you get loads of posters responding to the catnip.

LivMumsnet · 15/04/2022 22:03

If it's goady, offensive or breaking TGs in any other way then, yes, we are likely to delete a reverse thread. However, there are no 'set in stone' rules for this sort of situation tbh and we'd decide on a case by case basis. Very often, we find that the OP 'fesses up half way through the thread anyway...

If you have any questions about specific threads, please do contact us directly on [email protected] and we'd be happy to have a chat.

Thanks all.
