NIPT test gender disappointment thread - MNHQ response out of order

'As the OP mistakenly posted on the antenatal board they've not been met with much kindness or compassion so we decided it was best we take this thread down.'

I do feel this MNHQ response on a deleted thread is out of order. Many people on the thread in question were incredibly kind and compassionate. In fact, someone who had suffered losses posted sympathising with the op. Others rightly reminded the op, that she had a healthy child and the title of the thread was potentially triggering.
It just seems tone deaf for MNHQ to scold users of a board designed for people dealing with incredibly difficult circumstances for not gushing over someone complaining about a situation of which some could only dream.
Surely it would have been better to have kept the thread and asked the op to edit the title to one that was less inflammatory.

Thanks for this input. We take threads down for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes the OP has asked for us to take it down, sometimes it has drawn a lot of reports. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right. But we will share this message with the team and take on board your feedback.
