Watched thread notification emails don't redirect to the last read message

I've noticed the look of notification emails for watched threads has changed a bit over the last couple of days. And now, annoyingly, when I click on the blue button in the email to go to the thread, it redirects me to the very top of the thread, not the last read message, as it did before Is anyone else experiencing this?

When did this start happening? We'll see if we can find out what's going on.

I have an update already NoIdeasForWittyNickname - this has been raised with Tech department already so they're aware and trying to sort it asap.

@FlissMumsnet, it started yesterday or day before, at the same time as the new email layout appeared, so I guess that's related. Thank you very much for looking into this.

Can I please check to see if them 'looking at it'. Also covers the notifications that say you've been mentioned on this thread? They're going to the top too and it's incredibly painful!!

Secondly the @ function is incredibly glitchy, not picking up the names when you tap on them!!

Sometimes they take me to the top of the thread - if I'm lucky.

Mostly now they take me to the forum the thread is in.

Notification emails have become pointless.

Emails about the outcome of AIBU votes just goes to main AIBU page, rather than the individual thread.

@FlissMumsnet, are there any plans to get this issue fixed? I've also noticed that I'm receiving multiple email notifications for the same watched threads. This makes the issue even more painful, especially on more active threads. 😩

Still happening and it’s very annoying.

@FlissMumsnet any updates on when this will be fixed? It's super annoying and making ongoing discussion impossible.
