No longer possible to filter searches by date!?

I just tried to search for something, and wanted to return results from the last 6 months, but this no longer seems to be possible - the only time filter options were in minutes or hours! This is frustrating, because if you don't restrict by time you can get zillions of results, in no logical order.

It would be helpful if it were at least possible to order the results by time, with most recent first, but this isn't possible either. I was searching for a school name and only wanted recent posts.

Is this on Advanced Search? Just looking now and it looks like there are two tabs there: Search by Keyword and Search By Time. If you scroll to the bottom of Search by Keyword, you can actually add the dates in there, which we agree is confusing but seems to work.

Let us know if that does it for you.

Hi @HebeMumsnet are you looking at it in Desktop or Mobile mode? I'm using Chrome on Android mobile and there is nowhere to add dates. I've attached a screenshot of "Search by Keyword". Scrolling down goes to "Search by Time" which is only in hours and minutes.
