Advert Panels

Is anyone else finding the advert panels incredibly annoying. At the moment it is the Aviva one. The pictures constantly change and move. The movement and the colours are so distracting. I can't read threads when they appear.

Hi OP

We're happy to investigate whether these adverts are appearing as intended - can you provide us with some screenshots, please? And could you let us know what device and browser you're using to access the site?

The problem today was with an Aviva advert. A panel on either side of the screen and the picture moves as though it's a very short video. A huge Burger King one is appearing at the moment while being annoying due to it's size, isn't moving like the previous one. I'll try and get a screen shot if it comes back.

I'm using a windows laptop with Chrome

Right, I've tried to get some screen shots but it's as though someone has gone in to overdrive with the transition feature in Powerpoint.

In the last few minutes I've had adverts from TV licensing, Avis, British Airways, Lidl. I might as well be watching a TV advert.

Hi OP

If it appears again whilst you're browsing the site, can you take a screenshot? If it's a google choice advert, you can hide this by clicking the blue triangle at the top of the ad.

Thanks. Looks like it might be Google or Windows that is causing the problem. I'll go through my settings.
