Duplicate reads

Just seen a deletion message on one of the Boris/Ukraine threads started today saying that the thread has been removed because there is already a thread about it.

People usually get moaned at when they point out that there are already 6 threads about exactly the same thing.

Is this going to be a new approach by MN?

Thanks for flagging this. Just to explain, the OP of that thread got in touch to ask us to delete their thread as they had missed that there was a similar thread discussing the subject and they felt it was better not to try to duplicate the discussion.

Apologies if the thread deletion message didn't make that sufficiently clear.
