Unable to send PM's, weird message

Mumsnet, been trying to send a couple pms and they aren't sending. Getting a weird message

what on earth is that about? The people I'm trying to send to aren't blocked or anything.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @Ijsbear and thanks for letting us know.
We've got a problem with PMs showing that message and we're working on a fix now.
In the meantime, if you check your sent messages tab you should see that the message has been sent - it's the 'success ' bit that's confusing things.
Apols, and we'll hopefully get a fix in place soon.
