Can't get onto Talk page

For the last few days, Mumsnet site has stopped allowing me to get onto the Talk page and just comes up with a message saying we're trying to fix the site - return to Homepage or Talk page. I can get onto the Homepage and I can find threads in Active and I'm on but I can no longer get onto Talk and see and click on any topic.

Is this a general problem for some users at present? It suddenly happened, after no issues at all and no changes at my end.

Any advice please?

How do I ensure I access Mumnset straight from that link from now on?

Also, why did my usual way of accessing Talk stop working suddenly?

Oh....But when I then try to navigate to a different topic, once I'm on that link, it happens again - ie I get the "Oops Page not found" message again....

same here.

can access AIBU from threads listed on the Trending Now or linked to but not the board itself from anywhere.

I have the same problem. Can only access the main page & trending now list of chat. Try & go to somewhere like Style & Beauty & get the Oops message. Have done for several days.

@StevenTechMumsnet, many thanks but when I tried again, what happens is that by clicking on the link you gave, I can get onto the Talk page and from there click onto a topic - BUT - then when I try to click back onto Talk, it does the Oops thing again!

So it's like I can only choose one topic to go to and then can't navigate back to the Talk page. I can only then access different topics if I go onto Active Threads or I'm On but this limits me to ones on those and no others.

Hi, Is that still happening now - if you go to (for example) the
talk home page or site stuff or AIBU topic pages, do you still see an error? We put in a fix a couple of hours ago which should have helped. If it hasn't worked, our tech help team should be able to advise further tomorrow on how to fix it. If you're around now let me know if those links work. Thanks! And sorry for the hassle.

Hi, Yes, it's still happening. With the first of those three new links you sent, (Talk Home Page) I get the Oops error message. With the Site Stuff link and the AIBU link, when I click on these I can get onto those pages but if I then click Talk to try to get me back to the main menu page for Talk topics, I still get the oops Error message.

So it's the same as before. I can't navigate from a topic back to the Talk menu page but can access topics if they're on Active or I'm On, as a one time access and then if I try to go to Talk, I get the Error message.

Thanks for letting us know mutterphore - we'll see whether StevenTechMumsnet can advise what to try next.

We are aware there's been some issues in the past couple of days but hopefully normal service can resume soon.

I'm getting an error message every time I try and post or even when I try to get into the next page of a thread. I'm using the desktop site on my phone.

Hi OP

Mine was doing this - I just had to clear my Mumsnet cookies and it worked fine again. I haven't read the full thread yet so apologies if you've tried this but if not, please do!
