Hello. We've added a "log in" and "log out" link to the top of the talk pages. Once you are logged in, you can click "threads I'm on" to see any threads you've posted messages to in the last few days. You see your latest message and any responses.

Thanks tech, most useful. Won't need to trawl through everything to find posts now. Also, the log in log out thing couldn't come at a better time as DH has just started posting and we were trying to figure out how to not be each other on posts etc.

Fantastic! "Threads I'm on" is fab! But it does make me realise how much I'm on MN - any word on a 'bugger off and do some housework' button Tech?

JanH · 20/11/2004 23:28

tech dear - sorry, I always seem to be nitpicking, but anyway...I love the "threads I'm on" bit but (love the bolds too) there's at least one thread I'm on today which doesn't come up...

tech · 21/11/2004 10:52

Hello JanH, that's fine - nitpicking is useful.

Anyway, I put a limit on of 30 threads and you were on more than 30. So it claimed it was showing the most recent 30. But what it was showing was the 30 threads that were started most recently, not your most recent 30 messages. It should work correctly now. So you should see your most recent messages at the top of the list. (If that makes any sense.) I've also changed the limit to 40.

Ta tech - that's useful. No excuse for me not to go back and accept the flack for what I've posted earlier now.

libb · 21/11/2004 15:38

I wondered why I kept clicking into find new messages instead of search current messages.

I am such a creature of habit . . .
