MN crashing Firefox

I've been using firefox for the last year or so, it's been fine.
However since the end of last week, so about five days ago, I've noticed it crashing a lot - but only from the MN site, everything else is fine.
No problems when using the MS Edge Browser, but I really don't like it as much, and its inconvenient having two browsers open. Any ideas?

  • Or anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Hi ThinWomansBrain,

Thanks for letting us know - that sounds frustrating.

Are you getting any error messages or pop-ups? If you are please do send us a screenshot.

Are you using your mobile or a laptop to access Mumsnet?

We'll do what we can to help get this sorted for you.

sorry for the delay - I forgot to check back
Using on a laptop (on Edge for the last few days when I remember!)
the only error message is a Firefox one
will log in on Firefox again and take a screenshot

Morning, OP. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Are you still having the same issue with Firefox? If so, would you mind letting us know what kind of laptop you are using, and which version of the OS?
Thanks so much.

I'm having the same issue.

I only use firefox for mumsnet threads I'm reading, and the last 2 weeks or so it's been crashing multiple times a day. No crash report, just closing randomly whenever I try to go to a new page and it's loaded. I re-open it and it's back on the page I was on before I clicked next.

I just upgraded to windows 11, have checked with multiple virus and malware softwares, and have a $6000 alienware gaming computer (not a brag, just pointing out it's not a $200 no ram budget PC) that handles serious games and programming with no issues.

I think it's definitely a mumsnet issue.
