31/1/22: Scheduled maintenance - MN will be offline between 12 and 1am tonight

Hi all, we're doing some maintenance work as part of our re-platforming project and we'll need to take the site offline for an hour tonight at midnight. We wanted to give you some notice and we hope it doesn't inconvenience anyone too much.

Will there be a MN test card?

Yes, Justine is coming on with a new hair do in an alice band and a cuddly clown, suggesting we play Noughts and Crosses instead. What could the tune be?

Guaranteed that will be when I have a nightmare and I won't be able to use mumsnet to take my mind off it before I go back to sleep!

At least if MNHQ took it offline between 11pm and midnight, a tonne of British MNers would finally get their tax returns in on time.

I've been here since Justine was in long socks, I have a selective memory, obviously! I don't remember it going off at 3am, but maybe I slept better in those days?!

Somebody put the plug back in and early.

And it was pre-Netflix and streaming, so left with nothing to browse in the wee hours. Only option was to go to sleep.

We don't know how luckybwe are nowadays.
