Hi Mumsnet HQ.

I'm getting quite worried, not necessarily about the misinformation being shared and the huge jumps into things the courts couldn't even managed to prove, but the fact that the locations of vulnerable people are being shared and links to places where children's photographs can be seen etc. I realise some of this may already be in the public domain already but there seems to be a bit of a morbid fascination growing with people sharing information about or from their public social media profiles.

The children deserve some privacy and without people hunting out and sharing details that link to their pictures.

YANBU (I know you didn't ask)

The salivating over details is grim but does it cross talk guidelines? Not sure.

It will be interesting to see where HQ draws the line.

I’ve tried to - ultimately you should know that she was not proven guilty in the crimes she is being accused of on the threads…

She has been cleared by a court (whether your or I agree with this) the fact the posters are still saying she is guilty is not ok.
