I only use iPad for MN, it’s loading fine for me. Have you tried switching the iPad off and on again OP? Sometimes mine fails to load websites if I haven’t done this in a few days. Are you accessing other websites ok?

tanstaafl · 05/01/2022 07:50

Fine here too.

Vaginasaurus · 05/01/2022 08:05

Sorry if my replies are a bit clunky. I am on my phone. I have tried switching the ipad off and also upgrading the operating system. All other websites are fine. Mumsnet partially loads but then freezes and none of the links are working.

I sometimes look at Mumsnet on Safari on a quite old iPad and it works fine. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Safari?

Chemenger · 05/01/2022 08:08

The boy way I found to fix this was to delete all my history and restart Mumsnet, accepting all cookies. There is another thread about this, several people have had the same problem. I had spent ages rejecting cookies but apparently that is stopping MN working on safari. I’m sure MN are working on this…

Chemenger · 05/01/2022 08:08

Boy? Only way

SilverGlassHare · 05/01/2022 12:11

I’m having the same problem on my iPad- working fine on my phone.

tanstaafl · 05/01/2022 12:43

Actually, come to think, I’ve had a problem that sounds very similar ( with Safari) - the fix was quite simple, close ALL open tabs, which closes Safari.
Open Safari, was fine after that.

Hi there, @Vaginasaurus - sorry for the delay in responding to this. Are you still having this issue today?

Vaginasaurus · 06/01/2022 11:53

@KimMumsnet Yes, I am still having the same problem. I can’t get Mumsnet Talk to work on Safari. The page partially loads and none of the links work at all. I have upgraded my iPad to the latest IOS. Mumsnet Talk does work on other browsers such as Firefox. Thank you.

Hi again. Thanks for letting us know, and sorry to hear that this is still an issue.
Have you tried clearing cookies in Safari?

Vaginasaurus · 06/01/2022 16:24

Thank you so much, @KimMumsnet . That has sorted the problem! Best wishes.

Also, thanks to everyone else who replied. I really appreciate your help.

I am having the same problem as the original poster here. I’m not very up on anything technical at all and don’t understand how the original poster fixed the issue. I’m on an iPad using safari. That’s all I know. I don’t know how to do anything beyond very simple on my iPad. Can I be helped please.

I love mumsnet but have often deleted it and tried to live without it but miss it.

hope I can be helped. Thanks in advance.
