Problem replying to a PM

I just got a PM from joanneClarkeMumsnet re being a beta tester for the new talk platform.

But when I try to reply and hit the send button, I just get a box saying Close with no other text. My reply doesn't appear on my Sent tab.

This is on an iPad, latest OS.

Apart from looking into whether there's an issue with PMs at the moment perhaps you could pass the reply on to Jane?

That sounds ok.

I assume you want testing to cover a variety of hardware/software platforms. I do virtually all my MNing on an iPad, occasionally iPhone, never A PC. I’m currently using the apps for each most of the time, occasionally Safari. (I can’t remember if I provided this info before).

This happened to me too yesterday

This morning I got another PM saying 'apologies, there was a problem with replying. Please reply to this message instead'.

I did and it still won't let me?

Can you please also look at my query about not being able to delete PMs @JoMumsnet?

Thanks - apologies for this issue @WorraLiberty and @JaneJeffer - if you're able to send screenshots of the problem it would be really helpful.

I'm not going to screenshot PMs as it kind of defeats the purpose! I can't delete anything from my outbox. The delete button doesn't work.

@LivMumsnet this is what comes up on the screen and covers the message when I try to reply.

When I click 'ok', nothing happens.
