Threads deleted that just disappear

Hi Mumsnet can I ask why is it that when a thread gets deleted it also disappears from your watched list as if it never existed.

I use the search function which brings up nothing and also go directly to the board but no sign of anything.

Yet if you search the title and the word Mumsnet via Google it takes you straight to the message....

(This is using the app on iPhone).

Yes that's it. Can you find this message at all on MN as I can't but comes up immediately via Google.

No it just vanished without trace
