FAQs?

I am feeling rather stupid as I can't find any FAQs for posting here eg

1. Why are my posts either pink or grey?
2. Finally found out how to bookmark a post but when I go back to the thread I still have to scroll down to get to it instead of automatically going there
3. Is there a difference between bookmarking and watching?

I am sure there must be more i need to know

1. Quickly identify which are your posts
2. I don't know sorry! Make sure it's flagged as bookmarked!
3. Watching is where you've had no input on the thread so it'll be in your watched list.

Bookmark will take you to where you last read.

First off, here's the link to our Frequently Asked Questions page

You'll find it at the very bottom of any page on our desktop site - it's been re-named 'Help'.

There's also lots of information about posting on the site in our Getting Started page.

And if you're using the desktop site you can click on the blue downward arrow in the blue circle to the right of the word 'Talk' on any page - then click on Customise to change the way Mumsnet looks.

If you let us know which device you're using to view Mumsnet and which version of the site (desktop, mobile or app) we'll be able to answer your specific questions.

@jomumsnet thank you, I knew it must be somewhere, I just didn't see it as its in very small writing, sorry!

I still can't see anything regarding the bookmarking though. I am using a Samsung tablet with chrome.
