Ad that I don't want to see

I keep getting a google ad appearing when I view threads on the app. I've repeatedly clicked on the feedback link to say I don't want to see it yet it keeps appearing. For many reasons I don't want to have this ad appearing every few posts in every thread I open. Can anything be done to stop it appearing?

We're really sorry about this - however, if a google ad isn't responding to preferences then it sounds like it's a problem with google, and you may need to contact them directly. We will double check that, of course.
