Premium and adverts

I pay for Mumsnet Premium, but have noticed that I still get adverts on the app (android), which I didn't think would happen,
And I don't get the other features on the app either (the see all posts by a poster in a thread for example).
I'm quite happy to pay for Premium to support Mumsnet, but I am slightly put out that I don't seem to actually be getting most of the features advertised if I use the app (which I mostly do).

And even when using the desktop version, adverts appear greyed out, but still take up a big chunk of the screen - I'm sure it didn't do that when I first signed up, but in the last few months has changed to this - I mean, its better than seeing the actual adverts, but still isn't the greatest experience when reading a thread...

I get the greyed out thing on desktop. I don't get anything else but I don't use the app.

Hey @Giveaschitt - thanks for reporting this, I'm looking into the Android app problem. Unfortunately the Android app doesn't support the filter by user feature, but it should be hiding ads when you are subscribed to Premium.

What about the big greyed out spaces on desktop @TimMumsnet?

@BoreOfWhabylon is this grey square showing whilst you're logged in? It looks like a video ad that doesn't show to logged in users.

Yes @TimMumsnet. I'm always logged in. It appears on most threads (although not this one) just as in @Giveaschitt's second screenshot.

And yes, just to confirm, same for me @TimMumsnet - I'm always logged in, and these big grey squares with 'advertisement' written on them appear on pretty much every thread.

Thanks for the reports and sorry for the inconvenience. We're looking at a fix for this now, and will keep you posted.

Hi @Giveaschitt and @BoreOfWhabylon. Thanks for pointing out the grey ad placeholder showing in threads. We've released a fix to remove it. Please let us know if you're still seeing it or have any other issues.

Thanks @PhilTech - a quick look and I can't see the grey placeholders so hopefully that is fixed!

With the app @TimMumsnet, in case it helps, here is a picture of adverts showing when I'm logged in.

The grey boxes appear to have disappeared now. Thanks to @soniamumsnet @TimMumsnet and @PhilTech
