Back button takes me to top of screen

Hard to explain, but if I click on a thread halfway down the Active screen, then click Back, it used to take me to where I was e.g. halfway down Active. Now when I click Back it takes me back to the top of Active, which is really irritating!

Browsing on Safari on an iPhone, if that makes a difference - recently upgraded to iOS 15.

Anyone else?

It works fine for me on chrome - will take a look at what's causing this.
Can you bookmark in the meantime?

Thanks @LilyMumsnet - just checked on Chrome on my phone and that’s fine, so it must be a Safari issue where it just constantly resets to the top of the last page visited.

We've chatted with our tech team and this isn't actually a behaviour that we control - it's browser related. So whilst we can appreciate that it's likely frustrating, there's not actually anything we can do our end.
