Post hidden?

I posted something and as soon as I hit post it was "hidden" so it could be looked at no one had time to read it and report it so why has my post been hidden? It didn't even come close to breaking talk guidelines

I was on that thread, and it was hidden very rapidly.

So fast, that there can't have been time for a report to a nightwatcher, so my guess is that one happened to be on the thread and acted

It's either that or MN have rolled out 'autohide' for certain words/phrases. But night-time moderation is the sort of thing that they have always discussed with their community and kept us informed about. And there's no good reason to start treating us like mushrooms.

Yes, the post was autohidden by the spam filter - but we can't see why. We've unhidden it now and will investigate to see what triggered the filter. Please bear with us...

Found it.
It was the phrase 'pay Send' that' was part of your post - we've had plenty of spam containing that phrase before so the post was autohidden. I'll remove it from the filter for now and fingers crossed, the spammers won't return just yet.
