It’s driving me mad and I have lost several ‘in progress’ posts because the whole thread re-loads when an ad loads or changes.

IPhone, mobile site.

Hi EdgeOfTheSky,

That sounds annoying - we're sorry that's happening. Would you mind letting us know what browser you're using?

Have you attempted to close the ads down before this happens or does that not make any difference?

FictionalCharacter · 27/10/2021 02:07

I’ve had this happen all day today - I’m reading a thread and the whole page refreshes, and I’m back to the top of the thread. I just lost a reply I was about to post. I didn’t realise it was something to do with ads.

Can you do anything about this MN? I’m using Safari on an iPad. Also how do you close the ads down?

AmberLynn1536 · 27/10/2021 02:10

Yes me too it’s infuriating, safari ipad.

FictionalCharacter · 27/10/2021 02:22

Just happened to me twice in a few minutes on the thread “story repeaters”. I’ve only noticed this happening in the last couple of days but it’s making the site really frustrating to use.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 27/10/2021 09:16

Same, safari on iPad

PerseverancePays · 27/10/2021 09:36

Me too, safari on iPad

Hi - thanks for these reports. Just dropping in to see if this is still causing problems please? Flowers

FictionalCharacter · 27/10/2021 23:19

Yes, just happened to me again when I was about to post a reply on a thread. So annoying because everything you typed disappears.

soniamumsnet · 28/10/2021 10:57

Hi @FictionalCharacter thanks for reporting this. Please can you let us know the version of device and browser that you are using? We'll hopefully get to the bottom of this for you. Flowers
