What is going on with the adverts??

Twice tonight the adverts displayed in between people's posts in threads have blasted out music!! Luckily DC were in bed and it never happened earlier when I sat next to them as they napped! All my years on MN I have never heard any volume from the adverts!

Last week the adverts started floating down over posts when I scrolled down. That has happened before, last year, and MN were aware of it.

So I'm wondering if MNHQ are aware their adverts are playing up again? Are there others experiencing adverts that seem to automatically play at full volume and move out of place?

Yep. Had that loads recently. Tonight tho the adverts stayed in place but blasted out music even when not in sight. I have never experienced volume ever from an advert on MN so nearly shit myself!!

I got so sick of this that I use an ad blocker.

Normally the ads don't bother me, they're just silent and I scroll past. I have to assume it's just an easily fixable problem since the adverts are normally muted. And tbf MN did fix the floating ad issue last year. Hoping they are working on this new issue.
