Problems posting pictures on threads

Two separate issues here — the first one is quite possibly my fault. The second I think is something that Tech should maybe have a look at?

1. Until recently, I could screenshot on my phone or save images from the internet and use the paper clip to add them to a thread.

Now I keep getting a warning saying "Photo must be at least 90 pixels wide and high". I'm pretty sure they are, or at least, I don't think I'm doing anything different from what I used to do.

1. Even if I click on the dustbins and remove all the pictures I still get the warning when I try to post. I have to copy what I've written, refresh the page, and then paste it in again.

I'll try and attach screenshots in the next post (if they're big enough of course!). I'm using Safari on an iPhone SE 2020, latest iOS.

Ok, it's the other picture that's problematic and I've worked out why — you can't just click on the photo on the image results and download it. That gave a file size of 36 KB rather than 967 KB if I tapped to open it and then saved it. I presume in the first instance I was saving the thumbnail rather than the actual picture.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness troubleshooting!

It would be helpful though if the warning could tell you which picture is the problem and allow you to post without re-writing when you've removed it.

And I'd actually clicked the dustbin to remove that screenshot before I posted...
