How long do CATs take to arrive?

Well they have to be passed on manually, so it depends who is on duty and how quickly they can get to them. I know the CAT sending mechanism was down briefly earlier so that may have held things up.

Have just authorised one, not sure if it was from/to you!

Sometimes folks have chosen not to receive CATS but in that instance you should get an email telling you that the CAT has not gone through.

actually (not that I want to correct carrie in any way at all) if the person you are CATing doesn't receive them, it comes up with it in red writing after you've hit send, so you don't even get an email, it just makes it abundantly clear that it hasn't gone

(not that I have stalker-ish tendencies and regularly CAT people who refuse to acknowledge my existence you understand )

At our end it just says note/abandon when someone doesn't want to receive any CATS, so I assumed we sent the sender a little note saying sorry... the person you are stalking doesn't want to hear from you
