As the subject What happens to our previous posts when we select the delete my acc option? do they remain? Or do they disappear as well?

No, I don’t think they do

They only disappear if you convince MNHQ to delete all your posts because you've been outed, etc. Otherwise, your account is deleted, you stop posting, but all your history remains.

Answered on your other thread but just checked a username I’m pretty certain deleted their account and it’s:
‘Message withdrawn at poster’s request’
on every thread they posted on. Whether or not that’s automatic or, as pp said, because they asked MNHQ, I’m not sure….

Thanks Denton I’ve messaged MNHQ

Hi @Consideringdeletingmyacc, we've just seen your mail and will reply in more detail there, but the short answer is that no, your posts don't automatically delete when you deregister your account. However, your Private Messages do get deleted - both from your Sent box and from the recipient's Inbox.

Thanks to everyone who answered before we got to this one Smile
