Deleted threads

Sorry if someone has already posted this but yet again I've got over invested in a thread, this morning I've clicked on threads I'm on and it's not there so I presume it has been deleted. This seems to be happening a lot. Is there not a way they can stay under the threads I'm on but when I click on it states why it's been deleted? Whether it's a previously banned poster or OP has requested it's deleted or whatever. I feel like I need closure

They do stay on Threads I'm On. They re often a bit further down than you might expect them to be though.

Have you hidden it by mistake instead?

Yes, just scroll a lot further down TIO and the title will be there with the deletion message.

Deleted threads don't stay on the app, they just disappear.

When this happens I log into the browser version & they'll be on TIO, with deletion message.

I forgot to say I'm using the app, I very rarely log into the actual website.

It's definitely a bit irritating on the app, that deleted threads disappear.
Hopefully MNHQ might eventually take a look

Yet another thread has been deleted, I've had to log on to the website to see why and it's because the OP found it upsetting. Yes because people didn't agree with her! It's honestly putting me off posting on peoples threads.

Can you email us with the thread title, and let us know whether it's ios or android you're using? We'll try and help you locate it. It may not be deleted, it could be that you've accidentally hidden it.

I can confirm that on the app (iPhone) a deleted thread disappears from I'm On. I can view it on the website - not the app.

It's not hidden, nor moved down the list of threads.

I've reported this at least a year ago. It's not really a big deal but just to confirm it's definitely a thing!
