App suddenly loading mid thread

Does anyone else have trouble with the app just randomly loading when using the website? It keeps happening to me & means I lose my place in the thread I’m reading. It’s not even restricted to when I load a page - I can just be reading something & it suddenly redirects!

Sorry you're both having this problem. Are you using the iOs app or the android one?

Hi @Waxlyrically, this is how universal links is intended to work in the Talk app. It's how other apps work too.

You can stop the app automatically opening by long-pressing the link you want to open, and selecting 'open' in the menu. This should then stop automatically opening the app.

You can revert this change by scrolling to the top of a talk page and selecting 'open' for the Talk app.
