Notifications error

I’m not getting notifications- and when I click on it I get this error message. Any ideas?

If you're still being redirected to this error message, can you please give us some details about the device and browser you're using so we can investigate further.

@ThymeFlies @JoMumsnet I was having the same problem. I logged completely out and logged back in again and it has sorted itself out.

I was having this only now when I try to get to my notifications its asking me to login under a old username where it says email address even though I'm still logged in under my current username and when I try put my email address in and log in it just reverts back to my old username

Hi, Notifications should work OK now. If they don't for you, then logging out and then back in should fix the issue. Sorry for the hassle.

I’m having a slightly different issue. I am logged in and when I click on notifications it asks me to log in. I soon as I enter my details it blanks them all out and then asks for the details again. On safari on iPhone. Very frustrating

It did that for me on phone too, but iPad is working normally again, hooray!

No. That was what first prompted me to look. I usually have several notifications a day and have seen my username tagged in posts so know there should be notifucations, but not had a notification number for a few days now (2 or 3 days, I can't be exact when it started).

When i click in notifications to look, I'm asked to log in, but I'm already logged in. An old username is rewritten in the email box. When i change this to my email address it just reloads the same page (with old username). If I click log in with old username in the email box without changing it, I'm told email address is incorrect.

HI @FATEdestiny, the old email address on the page is saved by your Samsung browser, not by us, so you should be able to just overtype it with the new one and enter your password if that's how your normally log in. If you usually log in with either of the facebook or google buttons, that should be fine too.

But first, it would make sense to log out fully by clicking here. That should log you out completely. Then when you log in again you should be fully logged in to all bits of the site, and things should work correctly (if that make sense.)

I deleted the saved passwords used for Mumsnet on my Samsung browser. Then logged out and back in. Working now. Thank you.
