I tried to search to see if this has been discussed, but I couldn’t see a Mumsnet response. Apologies if there has been though. I get an alert if somebody tags me in a post, but not if I’m quoted. Could this be added, as tagging someone and quoting them seem like similar actions?
Are there any plans to be able to quote a post which has a quote in it? Being able to quote a post is very useful, but it seems odd that I can’t continue that in a conversation and have to revert back to copy pasting and tagging the poster. You’d only need their reply not the original quoted message, so it wouldn’t get out of hand with increasingly long posts.
