Hidden topics reappearing

Every time I load the app on my iPhone all my hidden topics reappear. I have given up trying to hide them all as it takes too much time. But it's now hard to find the ones I AM still interested in.

Hi @littleredberries just to be clear, are you hiding single threads or whole topics? Hiding a topic or a thread only hides it from active conversations - it doesn't hide it from the topic list, or the list of threads in the topic - it's just a way of cleaning up your active conversations list. Are you saying you still see the threads and topics in active conversations even after you've hidden them, or do they just appear in the topic lists? Thanks.

It's the topics that I have previously had in "watching" and "I'm on" but no longer wish to see. They stubbornly reappear every time I reopen the app. Haven't yet tried deleting and reinstalling. I'm using iOS 14.4.2 on an iPhone 6s.

I have hidden a thread because I find it very distressing but it is still leading my active board.

It shows as a hidden thread but there it is-please help
