Endless verification requests

I understand there's been a big issue with spammers on here but since yesterday I am having to verify myself repeatedly, not just when I first open MN but even as I navigate around. It sometimes takes a few attempts to be successful too (no idea half the time if I can see a bit of a boat or a bike) so it's driving me mad. Is anyone else getting this? Is my ISP in a suspicious location? I am going to give up on MN if this is a new permanent thing.

Sorry to hear you've been having this problem. We're hoping this was just a temporary glitch, but if this is still an issue this afternoon, could you please let us know which device you're using to access Mumsnet, and which version of the site - desktop, mobile, app?

Hi. Still happening so I’m using a different device. I’m using my laptop on Edge and I just can’t get in at all now.

Could you send us screenshots and try logging out completely, closing down and logging in again?

Tried logging in and out but it’s still happening. It takes at least three attempts each time. I can’t capture a screen shot but I took this photo of the screen.

Hi @Constantcrayfish thanks for the screenshot. Please can you let us know how you're accessing the site - are you using a vpn? Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this for you.

Hi @soniamumsnet. It seems to have resolved for now, but I was getting it both on my home wifi and at work on our VPN - it didn't make a difference.
