Hiding a thread

When I hide a thread that I do not wish to see, is there any way to hide it from trending threads? I'm guessing not.

It's a shame that so many troll threads are allowed free rein, but I presume it gets the clicks on the site and that's all that counts, eh!

I do wish I could hide them though when reports just generate the same tired and anodyne responses from MNHQ.

We do delete and ban posters whom we believe are trolling.
