Desktop version on iphone

I've always been able to access the phone version of Mumsnet through google chrome. Now when I open it it's the phone version initially but whenever I click on a topic it opens as desktop layout!
Any ideas why this is suddenly happening?

This has happened to me too. I'm using Chrome on Android.

Suddenly it's like I'm viewing the site in desktop mode, but according to Chrome I'm not. I'm having to turn the phone landscape to be able to read anything properly.

Hello - sorry this is still happening. We're going to check with our tech team now, but please check that you've not got desktop as a default setting on Chrome. In the Chrome app, tap the three dots for the menu and if you've got an option to 'request mobile site' then the desktop view is switched on.

I definitely don't have the desktop option ticked. I've tried selecting the desktop version and switching back, but it's made no difference.
