Can I stop MN app automatically opening if I view MN on chrome?

I usually use MN on my iPhone on via google chrome, but have noticed recently that after a few minutes, it automatically switches me into the app. Then I lose where I am in the post, can’t use the ‘see all OP posts‘ function & it’s driving me mad!

Is there anyway to stop it from doing this short of deleting the app?

If I want to use the app I will use it but don’t want to be redirected to it without any choice!

In Android there is an area in settings where you specify whether you want to open links in the browser or in the associated app, and each app can be enabled or disabled for auto-opening. I assume there is something similar in an iPhone? I don't have the MN app at all but I had a similar issue with Amazon.

TheDukeissoHot1 were you able to twiddle with your settings to say whether you wanted links to open in browser or in the app? If not and if you are still having trouble with this then do just let us know.
