Just wondering as I see it come up a lot. Why aren't you allowed to start a thread about a thread or discuss another thread on a thread???

Thanks for getting in touch about this.
There are a few reasons that we don't allow TAATs.

One is because a thread about another thread is likely to turn into troll hunting or generally be a bit mean-spirited about another thread.

Another reason is that if we've deleted a thread to protect someone's privacy, the last thing they'll want is another thread on the site discussing them/their situation.
