Why can’t I log in on the mobile app

Usually use the app on my iPad, for the last week or so haven’t been able to log in. Loads of other stuff to do so haven’t bothered too much. Today I had so time so have deleted and reinstalled the app, turned my iPad off and on but still no luck .

I can sign up again with my Apple ID ( new account) but I don’t want to do that I just want to log in using the app!

Any ideas mn hq?

( have had to log in on the website - my credientials are working!)
