Travel reviews - ratings a bit misleading

As it is time to get those 2008 hools in the calendar I was looking through the reviews for the first time since they've been put into their new format, and I have a slight gripe.

There is no indication of cost anymore, nor any idea of accomodation star rating which I think then distorts the results. So currently a Siblu static caravan park in France has an overall score of 9.2 whereas the 5 star Hotel Villa Vita Park has a score of 7.6. I haven't been to either admittedly, but find the comparison a slightly odd one. When a caravan gets 9/10 for accomodation, does that take the fact that it is a caravan into account?

I did find the previous banding into price ranges more user-friendly as currently I have to look up each place to work out whether it is within my expected price range or not. I guess hotel star ratings would work as well, though many resorts seem to work on an arbitrary star/palm/T rating.
