It has been suggested I post here to ask if it would be helpful for birth parents struggling with losing their children to forced adoption and other related contentious issues to have a specific board for discussion if said issues?
I am asking as it is a sensitive topic and while posts can be made on the adoption board and legal matters and relationships, finding a collection of related information is a little daunting. Posts on AIBU obviously attract alot of traffic but it can lead to polarisation and somewhat unhelpful judgement when posters are already down and really don't need a kicking.
If there are good reasons why not, I understand, but these issues affect more people than us realised perhaps, and talking about them and accessing support can be a minefield.
Any thoughts appreciated, especially from HQ of course
