Problems with the iPhone App

I have been having trouble all afternoon with the iPhone app giving me “maybe your internet isn’t available” messages. My internet is fine. I tried logging out and back in and it told me it couldn’t log me in. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and again it wouldn’t let me log in. I have no problem logging in on the website using safari, just with the app. The app won’t let me reset my password either (not that I need to - I logged in on the website to post this and it’s all fine).

Can you help?

Snap!! One minute mine would be ok and I'd be able to read one post but then it would suddenly start saying something is wrong here connection may be down. Facebook was fine and my Netflix and Disney+ is working ok too so I knew it wasn't my wifi that was down again. I even deleted and reinstalled the app to see if that helped and it didn't
