mishy/cod....was an interview re childminders and ofsted. is on BBC london.

Smee very kindly went to the BBC on behalf of childmidners everywhere - well ok then, childmidners on mumsnet, as a thread was started about inconsitencies in their inspections of childminders and the treatment doled out to people who feel that they are not minding from their own homes any more, but mini nurseries. There is a thread on it, I'll try and find it

I also mentioned on it the fact that as a childminder who was registered 2 years with OFSTED, then 4 years with the Care Commission (in Scotland) and have now moved back south, I have to go through the entire process from scratch. So effectively sitting twiddling my thumbs
